Funds raised by The Sled Dog Fund, Inc. directly support organizations such as The Stone Soup Group, Inc. located in Anchorage, Alaska.  Their Parent Navigator program provides support and education to families of disabled children across the state of Alaska.  Another supported organization is the Alaska Center for Children and Adults located in Fairbanks, Alaska, which specializes in testing and early intervention for children with disabilities.  We also provide direct funding to the Child Life Specialist program at Providence Alaska Children’s Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska.  Child Life Specialists provide encouragement and help guide children through the treatment process at the hospital. The Sled Dog Fund Inc. is also engaged in efforts to identify the root causes of developmental disabilities by sponsoring clinical research at the University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Donations to The Sled Dog Fund, Inc. help make all this support possible.
